Jeb Burke began his journey to become a professional chef during high school at Henry’s End restaurant in Brooklyn Heights. The restaurant was owned by neighbors who traveled the world and commonly used out-of-the ordinary ingredients to infuse their food with unique tastes and textures that made it stand out. From that initial experience, Jeb’s love for food and passion took him to the Culinary Institute of America, where he received his professional training. For over 60 years, The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) has been setting the standard for excellence in professional culinary education, providing training to some of the world’s most critically renowned chefs.

After the CIA, Jeb worked at Joe Allen’s in New York, served as a private chef, and honed his skills at a number of restaurants in Boston, New York and Key West. Today, he is the private chef for the executives at Newscorp in New York. In that role, Jeb manages a team of professional chefs who deliver innovative, fresh, and nutritious meals daily to some of the most influential business leaders in the world.

In addition to being a chef, Jeb is a devoted father and husband. He firmly believes it is important it is for parents to help establish healthy eating habits early for their children. Combining a rich professional experience, love for food, and the day-to-day challenges of being a parent, Jeb offers a unique perspective on the role food plays in our daily lives. Fortunately for MyFreshEgg.com, he’s willing to share that opinion with you on this site.
